Jose R. Nieves Sosa, MD, FACOG

Dr. Jose R. Nieves Sosa, MD, FACOG, is a board-certified OB/GYN with more than 30 years of continuous practice in Brownsville.

As Brownsville’s first robotic surgeon, he developed the Robotic Surgery Program at Valley Baptist Medical Center and continues to lead it today. His clinical experience includes office gynecology, high-risk obstetrics, and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. Patients can expect thoughtful care, clear communication, and the benefit of extensive surgical and obstetric experience.

Magdalena Flores, MD, FACOG

Dr. Magdalena Flores, MD, FACOG, is a board-certified OB/GYN who has cared for patients in Brownsville since 1999. She currently serves as Chief of Staff and Maternal Medical Director at Valley Baptist Medical Center – Brownsville, and has led the hospital’s Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology through multiple terms. Her clinical experience includes comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care, with special recognition in hysteroscopic procedures and a special interest in hormonal management. Patients can expect attentive care, thoughtful guidance, and the benefit of more than 25 years of experience serving the Brownsville community.
